Research Interests
I came back to the University of Illinois following 20 years of industry experience
working in dent corn line development (FR1064) and trait introgression. My
research focus is as follows: 1) genealogy and genetic diversity of field and vegetable
crops; and 2) gene expression; 3) applications of molecular markers to crop breeding.
