| Course Description | This course will give the student the opportunity to learn about (and observe) the scientific tools and methods used by plant breeders working with different crop species. The students will be expected to have an understanding of basic genetics and plant breeding prior to enrolling in the class. The class will visit university and commercial plant breeding programs, see plant breeding programs firsthand, and interact with plant breeders working on various crops. | ||||||||||||
